This is what Accent Dance NYC, a charitable organization, does every day throughout our metropolitan area, including in some of the most under-resourced communities where students may have little to no access to arts education.

We are also a multicultural dance company that commissions and performs works that amplify diverse cultures and perspectives. For high school students, special curriculums have been developed based on these commissioned works, engaging and inspiring even the most hard-to-reach youth.

On November 8th, Accent Dance NYC will host its annual gala, CULTURE REVEALED to raise funds for our initiatives empowering youth and audiences through the transformative power of dance.

This year alone, Accent Dance NYC reached almost 10,000 students throughout NYC and lower Westchester County – twice the number reached last year – for a total number of students served of over 25,000! We also had our first professional concert dance season in March 2025, featuring over 22 exceptional artists across a vibrant spectrum of styles and genres.

Another milestone this year was being granted final 501c3 public charity status from private charity status, thereby allowing a far greater number of entities and foundations to donate fully to us. We also have a robust subscriber list of almost 2,000 supporters, an active social media presence, and are frequently in the news – including on News 12, PIX 11, and other local news stations.
